The job market’s cooked. You don’t have to be.
A bot often reads your resume before a human does, and some bots are terrible at it. Uncooked is a free Claude Code plugin that fixes how your resume reads and tailors it to each job, using only what’s true.
/plugin install uncooked --marketplace mofopeadegoke/uncookedIt’s free, so a star is the best thanks. Star it on GitHub to help other job seekers find it.
You’re qualified. The ATS may never show it.
Your layout gets misread.
The text can be perfect and a parser can still lose your contact details and most of your jobs.
Your job title decides how you’re found.
In testing, a “frontend engineer” search matched only titles containing that exact phrase. A good summary didn’t change it.
Your best work can go unseen.
A commercial parser never showed the Projects section, so strong work listed there didn’t appear.
Uncooked puts the real you where the ATS can see it.
Share your resume and a job
Use a PDF, Word or LaTeX resume, and paste in the job posting or a link.
It reworks what’s already true
It fixes the layout so you’re read correctly, then rearranges your experience so your strongest match for this job comes first.
You apply with a clear picture
You get a tailored resume and a plain report on what changed. It says when a job is a long shot, and tracks who to follow up with.
Same person. Easier to find.
Freelance Web Developer, tucked away under Projects
Freelance Frontend Engineer, listed first under Experience
From a fictional candidate’s run. The title is one she had approved in her facts, “part-time” stays visible, and it now matches the job’s title in search.
It never makes you up.
It can reword, reorder, cut and move, but it can’t add anything you haven’t confirmed. “Helped” stays “helped”. If you don’t have what a job asks for, it tells you instead of faking it.
Built on testing, not guesswork.
I’m Daniel Adegoke. I ran the same resume through parsers like OpenResume and Affinda, changing one thing at a time, to learn what actually changes how a person is read. Those findings became this plugin.
In its evals with fictional candidates, the plugin scored 0.96 on a good-match job where plain Claude scored 0.50. Results from real applications will be added here as they come in.

GitHub issues are public, so please don’t paste resume text or personal details.
Go get uncooked.
Paste this into Claude Code, share a job, and let your real experience do the talking.
/plugin install uncooked --marketplace mofopeadegoke/uncookedUncooked can’t promise you an interview. Who gets picked depends on things nobody can control, like who else applied, or whether the role is still open. It just helps you put your best foot forward.
The plugin is free and open source. Your resume stays in your own folder, going only to Claude in your normal session. Read the privacy policy
